Presenting: Jim Peters
Jim Peters, PMP, integrates project management and
enterprise / portfolio project management processes with enterprise project
management software for large organizations. He authored the Quick Guide to
Enterprise Project Management Solutions (Martin Training Associates, 2008). He
was the technical editor of five Microsoft Office Project 2003 and 2007 books
including the Project Bible 2007 (Wiley Press, 2007). He is one of the
co-developers of the RAS PPM/EPM reporting solution and works with Forté Systems
in delivering EPM solutions.

essential for project manager sanity. It also has a significant impact on the
success of the project. This session will explore eight tools and techniques to
ensure that the first few weeks or months set the stage for a manageable
project. This will be an interactive session with several exercises with
